Woodwind Quintet (Ars Antiqua) flirts with antiquated musics from many eras - veering quite close, but never actually touching outmoded styles, be they medieval, classical, or early twentieth-century jazz. It was composed in 1999 for the Baylor University Woodwind Quintet.
